Brief - The Icewhole team made up of key film industry insiders had spotted a gap in the market and wanted to provide a platform for young Film Makers to showcase their work and exchange ideas and opinions. The brief was to create a fully functioning community where users could upload films, music and communicate. The solution had to be quick to develop and allow constant future support.
Solution - Following a phase of detailed requirements gathering we presented icewhole.com a user focused solution that targeted their key user groups of Film Makers, Musicians, Actors and Film Schools. We then delivered a creative execution and full technical build implementing a bespoke community engine, an enterprise level CMS, a server side video encoding engine, banner management systems and a metrics package.
- Results - In the first 6 months the site achieved 1 million page impressions without external media
- Monthly the site averages 75,000 unique users
- 750 + films have been uploaded since launch
- The site has 2800 registered members
- Time average dwell time on the site is in excess of 6 minutes
